Green Vale Homes successfully migrate to SQL ActiveH

GV Homes, part of the Transpennine Housing Group manage over 4,000 homes in Rossendale, Lancashire 20 miles north of Manchester. Over the weekend of the 12th December 2009 the RSL migrated from their previous legacy Civica Comino Context ( CTX ) system, over to a state of the art single database SQL Server ActiveH Housing System.
Staff were excited on Monday morning to get started on the new system after finishing work on their old system on Friday, prior to the weekend. Rent Accounting, Lettings, Contractors and Repair modules went live, with two more modules to address planned works, complaints, ASB, RTB and other housing processes coming following in the new year for phase two.
From first thing Monday users were impressed with the speed of the new system and its extreme ease of use. It was good to see repair orders being entered in under a third of the time previously taken in the old system. The implementation of the SQL ActiveH housing system is a springboard to increase tenant satisfaction, efficiency and generate future cost savings.
