Get on the CRM bus with Cottsway   (04/12/2009)

Cottsway CRM Bus

Cottsway Housing Association is piloting a mobile customer service centre for its tenants in Oxfordshire, backed by an ActiveH CRM System for MIS Active Management Systems.


The Cottsway bus, complete with satellite ADSL broadband, visits outlying villages four days a week, allowing tenants to drop in, log repairs, discuss local issues, sign up for direct debits or tenant participation, and access other useful services without needing to travel to Cottsway’s office in Whitney.


Nick Harris, head of IT, Cottsway Housing Association, explained, “This innovation option connects us with customers across rural West Oxfordshire at a fraction of the cost of a fixed office in each location. It allows us to drive into the heart of the communities and advertises Cottsway as a housing provider that cares for its tenants. At the same time, the ActiveH CRM suite allows us to easily analyse what issues we log while on location using the business intelligence suite.”


The Cottsway mobile CRM pilot began in July 2009 and will finish in June 2010.
