Cottsway HA make the move to SQL Rents and PM (05/11/2007)
West Oxfordshire based RSL Cottsway Housing Association has now migrated successfully to ActiveH SQL Planned Maintenance and Rents.
Cottsway Housing is the largest local Registered Social Landlord (RSL) operating within the West Oxfordshire District. CHA own and manage over 3,600 homes and provide services to 135 leaseholders and 17 part-owners in shared ownership schemes. The organisation is a result of a RSVT from West Oxfordshire District Council in 2002. MIS Active Management Systems have worked continuously with Cottsway throughout that great period of change.
Migration took place over a weekend and was planned to cause no disruption to staff or customers. Adding SQL Rents and Planned Maintenance completes the picture at Cottsway which has now all its core business systems on the modern and market leading Microsoft SQL Server platform. Benefits can now be realised for reporting and the application of service improvements for tenants, leaseholders and other customers. Cottsway already experience the benefits of ActiveH's seamless integration with Excel, Word, Crystal Reports and Outlook for Repairs, internal contractor and CRM.
Migration of asset component, asbestos, servicing and safety data has been assisted by MIS-AMS partner JDI consultants. A process of review and data validation will enable Cottsway to make the most of the versatile nature of the new Planned Maintenance module and the enhanced reporting facilities that it provides.
Introduction of the ActiveH web access features for customer use and use of MWS Contractors (already proven and in use at a large 120+ operative DLO in the midlands) is planned in the near future.
