We have had teething problems with Great Plains but I have to say that more than 90% of them have been user related rather than system related! The help desk have been brilliant whenever we have had any problems. Our implementer has been up a couple of times and has always been of tremendous help. On the whole GP has been a really good choice and we are happy with the support we are getting from MIS

Disablity specialist Habinteg implement ActiveH   (16/07/2007)

Habinteg provide specialist adapted accomodation for customers with disability needs across the UK. Often accomodation is provided in a mixed environment so schemes can be as easily used by all people whether having a disability or not.

The new systems, organised around central asset and contact databases will enable improvements in the co-ordination of all customer information. Integral workflow has been implemented to take advantage of the way the system can be easily moulded to business processes.

The implementation was co-ordinated between Habinteg's offices off Fleet Street in London and Bradford, West Yorkshire. Meetings were often conducted using video conferencing which greatly reduced the amount of business miles travelled by MIS implementation staff. The lead implementor was Andy Durack.

Habinteg's go-live was undertaken across a weekend to minimise downtime. An implementor was utilised in the London office as well as in Bradford to ensure a smooth transision was made. Habinteg staff including Denise Goddard & Mark Simmons-Powell spent the 15th July testing & reconciling to the penny to the previous system.
