Tony Gallagher, 24, from Liverpool, is one of the first recruits and returns to the business this time in a developer role rather than a student on placement.
Tony said: “I thoroughly enjoyed working at MIS AMS for over 14-months whilst completing my degree, so when a graduate role was offered it was a no-brainer to say yes and return. I had already seen first-hand the comprehensive training employees must undertake before being granted access to the ActiveH software, so I knew I would be really adding to my knowledge and broadening my skill-set.
“I have already been working on the businesses Hybrid products, something I focused on back in my student placement and I’m really enjoying it, I can’t wait to see what I know in a year’s time!”
Chris McLaughlin, managing director, said he was delighted to be welcoming more talent into the ever-growing diverse team: “I’m committed to hiring professionals who want to make a positive impact on the world of work and their own career – our current team now comprises of 58 members across different nationalities and age ranges.
“We have always welcomed graduates through the doors, and luckily for us many have returned when they are ready to take the leap into employment. The talent across the North West is incredible and we know we have some of the best here at MIS AMS. We are dedicated to spending time and money on training and growing everyone’s knowledge and skills, so they continue to deliver remarkable work and unbeatable customer service to our ever-growing client base.”
In a record-year that has seen seven client wins, the MIS AMS team has grown by 8 employees in the last nine months.
Also joining is Alexander O’Reilly, 26, from Biddulph, who arrives at MIS AMS to take up a support developer role from a programming background.
Alexander said: “I actually heard of the position through an old colleague who raved about how wonderful everyone was at MIS AMS – and he wasn’t wrong. There are lots of great varieties in the work that I do and the people I work with, which I thrive upon. The team here know their stuff and I am really excited to be part of a year that has seen so many clients wins with an array of new projects to work on.”
