MIS AMS ActiveH Lite delivers mobility for small housing association
Care Housing Association (Care), based primarily in the north of England has chosen MIS AMS ActiveH Lite upon which to build the foundations of its housing management system. The software delivers a fully mobile entry-level housing management system for a small, but growing organisation.
Care has in the region of 170 tenancies and expansion plans to grow to approximately 300 properties across Yorkshire, the North West, West Midlands and Lincolnshire. The association develops supported living properties and owns around 20% of its stock whilst using the lease model to grow.
“As a relatively small housing association with just three full time housing officers, the mobile facility really appealed to us as it means that we can be out in the field, rather than shackled to a desk,” explains Matthew Eddisford, Chief Executive, Care Housing Association.
“The software delivers big functionality for a small but growing organisation like Care and will help us manage our existing portfolio of tenants whilst expanding over the next 18 months – scalability was an important factor in our choice.”
ActiveH Lite will provide Care with a housing management system that will store details of rent accounts, repairs including tenant responsible maintenance and of course general information about the properties and the tenants contact information. Other functionality can be added as the organisation grows.
“Knowing that MIS AMS has experience with very large housing associations was a big plus when buying ActiveH Lite,” explains Matthew Eddisford.
“The company has all of the experience we need to help us put in place the right housing management solution from the start without compromising the ability to scale.”
