Ann Foy joins the management team at MIS AMS

Ann Foy has joined the management team at MIS AMS and takes up a new operational role to head up the new business team. The appointment comes as the team of five aims to meet the daily challenges that come with fast growth.

Ann’s new role is dedicated to focusing on new business, formulating and submitting tenders and broadening incumbent client services.

Prior roles for Ann have included programming, application manager and group head of IT within local authorities and Housing Associations, so her new position sees her move to the other side of the fence – the role of the supplier.

Ann said: “I was ready for a fresh challenge, having worked in housing associations for over 20 years I know what a person in my role needs, their pain points and how technology can help them reduce costs and become more efficient – whilst delivering what residents need and want.

“It’s also great to be able to have an input at management level as I know what constraints, pressures and budgets internal IT managers have and can empathise with that and look to tailor our services accordingly where possible.

“I’m really excited to be able to add value to the MIS team and have already hit the ground running working on a number of tenders in my in-tray.”

MIS AMS has enjoyed a period of growth in terms of headcount having hired 15 new members in the last year alone adding to their already strong team.

Ann continued: “I’ve joined at an exciting time  – dealing with tenders for a full housing management solution, but also for ActiveH Lite, which has all the functionality that smaller HA’s are looking for, but is able to scale up as they grow. So, 2018 looks like a promising year.”

Chris McLaughlin MIS AMS’s managing director who appointed Ann said: “Ann’s experience of IT gained within Housing Associations is invaluable to MIS AMS. We’re really thrilled she has joined us and look forward to what she will bring to the new business function – and to the management team.”
