Grŵp Cynefin Housing Association goes live with new Housing Management solution from MIS AMS
Grŵp Cynefin, a Welsh housing association that manages an estate of 4,500 residential homes across seven local authority areas in North and mid Wales has gone live with ActiveH housing management solution from MIS AMS. The software will manage the organisation’s rents, repairs, resident texting, planned maintenance, business intelligence reporting and CRM in one integrated system.
Grŵp Cynefin, created during the merger of two smaller associations on April 1, 2014 began evaluating how to integrate the new organisation’s housing management systems and processes in February 2015. MIS AMS was chosen from a list of six potential suppliers in February 2016.
Data can be captured and stored in ActiveH to provide one single view of its assets and resident data making it easier to manage maintenance and repairs across the estate of 4,500 houses and easier to communicate with residents.
“It’s important for us at Grŵp Cynefin to have one system to manage all of our tenancies, a system that enables us to provide an efficient and effective service to customers. We are pleased that ActiveH allows us to achieve these objectives, and would like to thank the team at MIS AMS for their support” explains Roy Carroll, project manager, Grŵp Cynefin.
Chris McLaughlin, managing director at MIS AMS said: “When mergers occur between housing associations it’s necessary to bring together legacy systems and deliver a single view across the merged estate. ActiveH provides a totally integrated and flexible system that can support the processes right across the new organisation and scale with that organisation well into the future.”
Andy Bannaghan, implementation director, MIS AMS said: “The project went exceptionally well thanks to the hard work and determination of both teams and the strong working relationship that we’ve built over time with Grŵp Cynefin.”
Grwp Cynefin have also implemented MIS’s Contractor Portal which enables contractors to view and complete their works orders online ensuring quicker payment and less staff admin time.
In phase 2 Grŵp Cynefin plan to implement MIS’s tenant portal and staff portal with a view to ensuring more effective communication with its tenants, and more efficient working.
