Northern Irish housing association rolls out mobile CRM to sixty housing officers

Choice Housing deploys MIS AMS ActiveH software to deliver efficiencies across its communities of residents

Northern Irish housing association, Choice Housing that manages an estate of around 10,500 houses has signed a contract with MIS AMS to roll out it’s ActiveH mobile CRM software to over 60 users. The mobile CRM, deployed on iPads, will allow housing officers to spend more time in the communities they serve whilst communicating in real-time with association’s central housing management system.

The roll-out comes as the association is also preparing to go live to residents on a new customer portal this winter where tenants can view and update their personal information, check their rent account and arrears and organise repairs to their property.

“We ran a pilot test between May and September of ActiveH mobile CRM and having completed that successfully, we’ve now purchased the user licenses to fully use it across our staff of 60 housing officers,” explains Brian McKenna, Director of Corporate Services at Choice Housing.

“We have some 300 staff in total and with the changes in housing in Northern Ireland and a push towards delivering a ‘digital tenant’, we are able to check rent and arrears, log new activity in the field straight away, download information about repairs and raise issues directly with our service centre from an iPad in the field.

“The solution makes us more efficient and provides our residents with the easiest way to contact us and get the information they need faster.”

This latest roll-out follows the deployment of ActiveH Mobile Surveyor in May which allows the association’s seven asset managers to conduct live surveys on site and feed back information to system directly.

“Every stage of the deployments allow us to be more collaborative, resolve issues faster and provide our tenants with the best customer service possible,” concludes Brian McKenna, Director of Corporate Services at Choice Housing.
