Gateway Housing Choose ActiveH

Gateway Housing Association, the largest provider of sheltered housing within Tower Hamlets London has embarked on the introduction of a new IT system that will result in better services for tenants. The ActiveH system will be implemented by MIS-AMS, a market leader in specialist systems and business process services, ensuring that business transformation is delivered efficiently.

Contracts have been signed to implement a fully integrated, single-provider housing system to the whole organisation. This will streamline its operations, meaning better communication between departments and better use of staff time by reducing manual processing, which is the is key to our ongoing service transformation and cost savings.

Helen Routledge Gateway Housing’s Director of Finance said: “We have started a major project to implement ActiveH and  looking forward to realising the efficiency and effectiveness of the system in delivering improved services to customers”

Andy Bannaghan MIS-AMS Implementation Director said “We have just done the official project launch with Gateway which went very well and we are all looking forward to an exciting project and implementation together”

Gateway Housing staff had a very successful Project launch day led by project manager, Mhari Byrne on Tuesday 24th June. The whole business was involved, there were presentations by each of the 5 Project Board members including FD Helen Routledge to the company, the project was formally named, and work stream leaders were presented to the business, with cake and Pizza.

The presentation of the ACE Project (Achieving Customer Excellence) as it will be known to Gateway Housing staff, gave them all a full insight into what to expect from the ActiveH software and what was expected over the implementation period, this open and honest approach with the staff has left them ready and geared up for the challenge ahead to get ActiveH implemented correctly.

The analysis stage of the project is next with an intensive couple of weeks of information gathering and process mapping. Whilst all this has been happening the data analysts are continuing to beaver away to get the data out of the legacy systems ready to be imported into ActiveH.
